Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains when refunds are available for purchases from BookForge and the Markdown Converter application.

1. Markdown Converter (one-time license)

Payments for Markdown Converter are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We offer a 14-day refund from the date of purchase if the application does not work as described and we are unable to resolve the issue. Because the free version lets you fully evaluate editing and live preview before buying, we ask that you try it before purchasing a license to unlock exports.

2. BookForge subscriptions and credits

• You may cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
• Because books and exports are generated on demand and consume real processing cost, credits or usage already consumed are non-refundable.
• If you are charged in error or experience a technical failure that prevents delivery, contact us and we will make it right, including a refund where appropriate.

3. How to request a refund

Email support@usebookforge.com with your order or receipt details and a brief description of the problem. For Markdown Converter, you can also request a refund directly through the Paddle receipt email you received at purchase. We aim to respond to all requests within a few business days.

4. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
